American Foundation for Suicide Prevention

It is estimated that every minute, a suicide attempt is made.  That leads to more than 33,000 lives lost to suicide each year.  The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) works to stop this tragic loss of life through education, advocacy, and by funding research to better understand and prevent suicide.
